Key Laboratory of Geographic Information System of MOE
Key Laboratory of Geographic Information System of MOE (hereinafter referred to as LAB) was approved by Ministry of Education at 2003.
The main task of LAB is to study and develop the GIS’s theory, key technologies and applications in national economy, social development and national defense construction, to provide reliable theoretical and technical support for the establishment of national infrastructure, spatial information application and service system. Meantime, LAB is aimed to participate in the informatization research on sustainable development of resources and environment and cultivate the high-quality and high-level talents in geographic information science and digital cartography.
